The last few days I've developed a rash on my fingers, and I'm not sure what is causing it. I do have a guess on what is causing the rash. It's either handling the leather that I use for the bullwhips, or from the leather dressing.

I'm going to finish the pineapple knot on my current whip then take a few days off from making them to see if the rash clears up. If it does, then I think I know it's either the leather or the dressing that is causing it.

Making whips is something that I find very enjoyable and I will try to continue to make them. It may mean that I have to wear gloves while I cut and plait, but that's no biggie.
