The first is a picture of the core of the bul whip (wrapped in pigskin) being covered with a 4 plait layer.

The core was a piece of cowhide that I scored and rolled. Then I wrapped it in a piece of pigskin to make the core and bolster.

The second picture (below) is the finished 4 plait layer.
