My current bullwhip project is coming along nicely. I wanted to post some pictures but blogger isn't letting me.

So my whip goes like this:

The 6 plait layer I did with a checkerboard pattern and it is nice and tight. I'm pretty proud of how it looks, too bad it's just going to get covered up with another layer.

I attached the handle last night. The handle is a piece of metal pipe that I got from the hardware store.

Since I have started this whip, I've definately improved in strand cutting, making tight plaits, and using tons of grease!

There's still tons of room for improvement before I'm a Mike Murphy or a David Morgan, but I'm on my way to making a respectable whip.

I'll post the pictures of this bullwhip when blogger starts letting me.
