Last night I was working on the handle of my 2nd stockwhip, and I noticed that the wood that I am using was really thick. I figured it wouldn't make much of a difference, so I continued to use it.

Well, once I finished plaiting the handle, it got VERY thick! That handle on the whip looks really bad. I'm going to have to go out and find some new wood and redo the handle.

Also, I'm not sure if this is just in my head, but I think the think handle is making the whip hard to crack.
