I've finished the second layer of my current bullwhip. This has a leather belly, followed by a 4 plait layer, then another 4 plait layer and a bolster layer.

This whip doesn't have a bolster between each layer like my other two bullwhip have had. I did this to see how much it would effect the shape of the whip. This has less taper to it that the other bull whips that I have made.

I added the layer of bolster because the bull whip didn't have much in the way of taper, so I added the layer to give the bull whip some "curves".
