I just finished making my fourth bullwhip, while sitting next to my wife on the couch. She was watching the TV show house. This was the first time I've watched that show and it's pretty good.

Well here's where I have improved in my whipmaking between bullwhips #3 and #4:

Tighter plait
Better bevel on the strands

However those two places that I have improved, are two places that I need to further improve. This whip is a 6 plait, and I don't really like the look of a 6 plait because the pattern isn't the same all around.

I think I will shoot for doing my next one as an 8 Plait....and maybe after that I will try to tackle a 10 plait...but I don't want to get ahead of myself.

Hopefull I will be able to start the next one while I am on the road in Eastern Washington performing later this week. I have a busy schedue, but maybe if I am lucky I will get to start and finish bullwhip #5 during the four days that I am gone.

I will post a picture of bullwhip #4 sometime some (hopefully tomorrow).
