Today is a sick day for me and my daughter. We both have a cold and I'm scheduled to go on the road performing tomorrow. If I am sick while on the road, I have a feeling my spare time will be spent resting instead of plaiting like I hoped.

Here's a picture of my finished fourth whip. So to recap how this one was made it started out with a steel bolt for the hand and a leather core.

Then I gave it a 4 plait layer and some bolster. After that I did a 6 plait overlay. I'm pretty happy with how this bullwhip turned out.

My next big challenge for bullwhip #5 is to make something longer than these short whips that I have been making. The short whips are fine, but there's nothing wrong with attempting something slightly longer.

Below is a close up picture of the turkshead on the knob and the handle. These came out pretty good for something that I made.
