I've finished cutting the 12 strands for this bullwhip (#6). That sure was a lot of work! On the plus side it's given me a lot of practice cutting strands.

Beveling all these strands is a ton of work as well. The picture shows the 12 strands that I've cut. The pile on the left need to be beveled and the pile on the right have already been beveled.

One thing that I wrote about earlier and have really need to remember is to always use a sharp blade! Beveling and strand cutting is soooo much easier when the blade is sharp. So my motto is "when in doubt...change the blade!"
