My third bullwhip sold on ebay for $51.00! and my fourth one has a bid at $12.99. Honestly I'm just happy to offset what I spent in leather trying to make them.

For the last few days I've been in Eastern Washington performing. I made a stop in Toppenish, WA to see the "murals" which sucked. But I was walking down the main street and saw a bullwhip in a shop window. I walked in and took a peek. This whip wasn't for sale, just window decoration.

I think it was a "production bullwhip", something that is mass produced. It was a 4 plait cowhide whip. Here's what I noticed about this whip:

The plaiting wasn't very tight
The edges weren't beveled
very little taper in the thong
Didn't look very solid (like there was no belly, but I only looked a the whip and didn't touch it)

So my first whip compared to this one is much better!
