Heres what's going on now, I have two whips on ebay (#7 12 plait cowhide and #8 12 plait kangaroo). The kangaroo bullwhip has been bid on ($49.97), and the cowhide has 10 people watching it, but no bids.

I'm working on the overlay of bullwhip #9. This whip has a cowhide core, 4 plait cowhide layer and a cowhide bolster. the overlay is a 12 plait kangaroo and I've gotten the handle plaited, and about an inch of the thong. this one looks better than #8. The strands are thinner, so I didn't have to drop any right away.

Hopefully I will finish plaiting the overlay on this one today.

Also yesterday I took bullwhip #8 to the park for some more test cracks and it's got some great action! Nice and fast!
