I just finished my 8th bullwhip, it's also my first Kangaroo Bullwhip! I'm satisfied with this whip...but it could be better. It's not as good as my 7th bullwhip. Here's why; I cut the strands too thick in the beginning.

so the whip starts as a 12 plait in the handle, but then I had to drop two strands right away when I got to the thong. Also I did a pineapple knot at the top of the handle, and I did it where the handle meets the thong. I should have done it about a inch closer to the butt of the handle. The handle looks too long (that doesn't effect the whip, just looks). Other than that, this whip is great. So my dissatisfaction is mostlycosmetic (?).

So here's the breakdown of this whip: It's a total of 5 feet 7 inches from the butt to the end of the fall. The handle is 8 inches, the thong is 3 feet 7 inches and the fall is 16 inches.

This whips guts are: cowhide core, 4 plait kangaroo belly, kangaroo bolster, 12 plait kangaroo layer.

This whip has a nice crack, and aside from the two cosmetic issues I love this whip!
